KSK Annual Appreciation Dinner Served Up a Malaysian Feast to its Employees and also its Business Partners
Kuala Lumpur, 28 December 2017 – The KSK Group recently held its Annual Appreciation Dinner at its luxurious 8 Conlay sales gallery. In keeping with the theme, ‘An evening of glitz and glamour’, the group’s employees from Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia were dressed to the nines to celebrate a year of hard work and success. The festivity was also filled with an air of anticipation as six highly-contended employee awards and a long list of lucky draw prizes were up for grabs. Welcoming the diverse team, KSK Group Berhad Executive Chairman, Tan Sri Dato’ Paduka Kua Sian Kooi, said, “Infinite possibilities often come alive in the human spirit of teamwork, innovation, and resilience. At KSK Group, we believe that everyone’s contribution is important to the big picture. Teamwork is most essential in order to witness new accomplishments year after year. Each of you have different responsibilities that, when done in excellence, will drive growth in yourself and the Group. Enlivening the atmosphere along the usually quiet Jalan Conlay, the upscale celebration kick-started with a lavish dinner in the theme of a Malaysian Fair featuring local food trucks which were parked right outside the 8 Conlay Sales Gallery. Iconic delectables such as nasi lemak, lok lok, satay, cendol, apam balik, and pun choy were some of the dishes served alongside a buffet spread and a Juice Works truck. Throughout the evening, KSK employees from each subsidiary company took turns to entertain the audience. Performances comprised singing, dance and stage shows. Some of the performances included a traditional Indonesian singing presentation, Thai singing and acting, and dance performances to popular songs by the Malaysian employees.
Winning themselves the ‘Best Performance’ of the night, KSK Land employees bowled over the crowd with their highly entertaining performance to well-known songs which ended in a crowd-engaging train line dance. The most exciting part of the evening for all KSK employees was the inaugural Annual Recognition Awards comprising six categories, namely the Celebration of Development Achievement, 2017 Core Values Ambassador, 2017 Theme of Year Award – Resolve & Determination, 2017 Theme of Year Award – Embracing Collaboration, 2017 Leadership Award and 2017 Effective Team Award; all presented in the form of pewter collections from Royal Selangor.
The day-long efforts to show-off the best looks were also rewarded to the best dressed male and female employee chosen from ten shortlisted guests. A humorous lip sync battle that tested the participants’ creativity and stage confidence made the decision, in addition to injecting fun into the evening. Concluding the event with the most anticipated grand lucky draws, lucky ones won themselves expensive prizes which ranged from an iPhone 8, a Samsung Galaxy S8, to a paid trip to Beijing.

Among the guests present were the KSK Group board of directors as well as the management teams of KSK Land Sdn Bhd, KSK Insurance (Thailand) Public Company Limited, PT KSK Insurance Indonesia and Carmana Company Limited. Key business partners who also graced the event with their presence included representatives from MCC Overseas (M) Sdn Bhd, Econpile Holdings Bhd and RSP Architects Sdn Bhd.
