Mah Sing Group Bhd held the groundbreaking ceremony for Mah Sing Southville City@KL South’s direct interchange access on the 12 November 2014. Held on-site at the sales gallery and show village in Bangi, the groundbreaking ceremony was graced by Datuk Seri Haji Fadillah Bin Haji Yusof, Minister of Works, Malaysia. In conjunction with the groundbreaking ceremony, Mah Sing further opened up a new block, Block C1 for Savanna Executive Suites.
The new access from the North-South Highway will open a direct access leading directly into and out of Southville City. Upon completion estimated by 2018, the direct access is anticipated to effectively connect Southville City with all its surrounding educational, industrial and residential neighborhood within Bangi, and beyond. The completion is expected to coincide with the vacant possession of Southville City’s first phase development, the Savanna Executive Suites.
In his speech, the Minister YB Datuk Seri Haji Fadillah Bin Haji Yusof said, “It is heartening to see corporations such as Mah Sing putting much thought into planning new townships with connectivity in mind. An infrastructure investment is a great effort by one company, but always pays in the long run, as townships will flourish much better. We welcome private sector initiatives such as Mah Sing’s as the involvement of the private sector has helped the modernization of the country’s infrastructure.”
