Bringing forth festive cheers to Seri Austin residents on the last day of CNY 2017
Reverberating drums at the Gallery area marked the last day of Chinese New Year celebrations and as an annual tradition, UMLand Seri Austin once again successfully hosted a Chap Goh Mei celebration attended by more than 500 guests. Present were Guest of Honour YB Khoo Soo Seang (Member of Parliament for Tebrau), YBhg. Tuan Haji A. Rahim bin Haji Nin (Datuk Bandar MBJB), YBhg. Datuk Ismail Ibrahim (Chief Executive of IRDA), Mr. Rajpal Singh (Consul-General of the Republic of Singapore), and Master Sandy Paw (Fengshui Consultants).
Event highlights were a 24-seasons drum performance, cultural dance, acrobatic lion and dragon dance blessings around the Sales Gallery. Guests were also treated to Chinese calligraphy and Fengshui consultation apart from Games Kiosk and Bakery workshop for children. There were also walkabouts by the God of Prosperity with special give-aways ang pows to members of the public. Attractive lucky draw prizes were also given to the lucky guests at the end of the celebration. In the same event, special CNY package was also given to buyers for our latest semi-detached at Aster 2.
The sumptuous Chinese New Year Prosperity Lunch inclusive Yee Sang and traditional Chinese New Year favourites were treated to the guests including the business associates and Seri Austin Residents. All guests participated with their chopsticks in hand, to toss and mix the colourful vegetable salad comprising all the ingredients together, with lots of good wishes shouted loudly amidst smiles, laughter and spirit as the ingredients were tossed. The Management & Staff of UMLand Seri Austin wished everyone Gong Xi Fa Cai, Good Luck, Good Health, Good Fortune, Wealth, Harmony, Prosperity, Happiness & Happy Chap Goh Mei!
DYNASTY VIEW SDN BHD (DVSB)
Dynasty View Sdn Bhd, a wholly owned subsidiary of UMLand Berhad is the developer of Taman Seri Austin, comprising 500 acres freehold residential neighbourhood, planned with a healthy and conducive community living environment amidst homes of quality design and affordable pricing. Adding to DVSB’s list of FIRSTS is Seri Austin’s dedicated bicycle lane for safer travel among those who wish to reduce their carbon footprint by not using cars. The bicycle lane stretches approximately 7.3 km around the Seri Austin Township and is well designed with proper signage, integrated within the road network. In August 2016, Seri Austin launched the FIRST Iskandar Malaysia’s Riders Point to serve as an inter-city meeting and resting point where cyclists can rejuvenate themselves before continuing their journey. Working together with the MBJB, DVSB was the FIRST Township that participated in the Adopt-A-Park program to preserve, beautify and maintain of the town park after handing over the town park to the authority body.
In December 2014, Seri Austin Town Parks was the FIRST recognized as Smoke Free Town Parks and in July 2015, Seri Austin Gallery was gazetted as the FIRST Smoke Free Work Place in Iskandar Malaysia. Both were Blue Ribbon Recognition from the Ministry of Health. In 2015, DVSB was given the opportunity to become the FIRST private organization to support Johor Talent Development Program, a program to prepare fresh graduates for the career world.
