The Women Cycling Convoy 2017 sets new record in the Malaysia Book of Records as a cycling event with the most number of all-women participation. The Convoy was held in conjunction with the International Women’s Day celebration and 11,412 women of all races and ages took part. Held at the Dataran Putrajaya, the successful event was organised by Badan Amal Kasih Ibu. Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor, Minister of Federal Territories flagged off the cycling event and the winners were presented with a medal by Badan Amal Kasih Ibu Chairman, Datin Seri Anggraini Sentiyaki, who is the wife of Federal Territories Minister Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor. The event was also witnessed by Deputy Minister of Tourism and Culture Datuk Mas Ermiryati Samsudin.
