Continued growth with focus on affordable and medium range homes.
PETALING JAYA (January 3, 2013) – Property developer, LBS Bina Group Berhad (LBS) remains positive in its outlook for 2013, with a sales target of RM1 billion, the highest amount since its foray into property development in 1992. After a productive year in 2012 which saw the Group record RM871 million in sales, surpassing the Group’s 2012 sales target of RM800 million, LBS foresees a continued demand for its multi segment offerings throughout the year 2013.
Reflecting this optimism, LBS today announced that a total of 15 new launches, with a total Gross Development Value (GDV) of RM2.3 billion constituting approximately 5,000 homes, will be launched this year. Some 2,300 homes from this total will consist of affordable homes which would contribute 35 per cent of the Group’s GDV for its new launches. Realizing the need for affordability and convenience among first time buyers, LBS assured that the affordable developments will be located in urban areas including the Klang Valley, Pahang and Johor.

This year, we are pleased to announce that we will be developing more affordable and medium range homes. This initiative is testimonial of our active role in supporting the Government’s effort to increase home ownership among Malaysians,” said LBS Managing Director Dato’ Lim Hock San.
LBS continues to offer quality homes for various other market segments at its up-and-coming township of Bandar Saujana Putra, its flagship high-end development, D’ Island Residence in Puchong, Cameron Highlands, Pahang and Ipoh among others. For the next 12 months, LBS will be introducing some 2,500 homes with an estimated GDV of RM1.1billion in the medium-high category and approximately 160 homes in the high-end range which have an estimated GDV of RM360 million.
LBS’ new launches for 2013 and on-going developments will offer approximately 5,600 homes with a combined GDV of RM3 billion.
