Amending Acts

Datuk Arpah binti Abdul Razak, Deputy Secretary General (Policy and Development) Ministry of Housing and Local Government, Malaysia said that her Ministry is working closely with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (NRE) in a proposition to repeal the Building and Common Property (Management and Maintenance) Act of 2007, replacing it with the Strata Management Act.

MAPEX Steps Up for 2012

The biggest Malaysia Property Exposition (MAPEX) yet will be held from 2 to 4 March 2012 in Mid Valley Exhibition Centre, Mid Valley. Organized by the Real Estate and Housing Developers’ Association (REHDA) Malaysia, MAPEX is one of the most anticipated property exhibition events in the Klang Valley. This first MAPEX of 2012 themed “Home and Abroad”, will see the exhibition doors open to foreign exhibitors this year.
