A fitness & food fiesta with Dato’ Chef Fazley Yaakob and Goh Liu Ying
Seremban, 21 November 2017 – It was an exciting Sunday for the folks of Seremban 2 as they visited the highly anticipated annual carnival with the theme of ‘Fit & Foodie Carnival 2017’ that was held at IJM Land’s S2 Sales Office. It was truly a fun and exciting day filled with delicious foods, exciting games and contest, with special appearances by Malaysia’s favourite celebrities that further enlivened the carnival. Visitors had a really ‘tasteful’ day as they eagerly tried all the delicacies varied from local to international cuisines offered by food trucks and food stalls at the carnival that opened as early as 9am. All home buyers attending the event got to purchase the food at a special price using coupons provided by IJM Land that made the ‘food-tasting’ session even more fun for the carnival-goers as they could try as many foods without having to worry about breaking their wallet.

Aside from the delicious part of the carnival, visitors were also encouraged to live a balanced lifestyle – motivating residents and visitors to lead a healthy lifestyle with a positive outlook, focusing on good health and lowering stress through different engaging activities such as the hunt for Ms. and Mr. Fit Fashion Icons as well as the Best Fitness Dance contest that kept visitors shaking at their hips as the trendy music filled the air. Families and friends of all ages can be seen smiling and excitedly roaming around the event as the game stalls and giant bubbles were filled with people queuing for their turn to tryout the games and win some great gifts. Furthermore, parents gathered to cheer for their kids who participated in the colouring contests, while cooking enthusiasts were eagerly checking out the secret recipes shared in ‘Recipe Corner Contest’. There were also many visitors striking their best pose at the photo booth with special cut-outs that IJM Land had prepared for them to immortalise beautiful moments with their loved ones.

Dato’ Fazley Yaakob demonstrated his brilliant cooking skills and taught visitors how they can still enjoy the food they love and lead a healthy lifestyle, whilst Ms. Goh Liu Ying spoke about healthy living and how each and everyone can schedule a time each week to allow oneself to de-stress, and spend a few minutes on relaxation each day.
