Malaysia-China People’s Friendship Photo Exhibition To Be Launched Next Week

The biggest media group in China, Xinhua News Agency will hold the “Malaysia-China People’s Friendship Photo Exhibition” together with the United Youth Movement of Malaysia (GBBM) and Malaysian Association of China Students Alumni (MACSA) from 12 to 30 June 2012. The exhibition is also exclusively sponsored by the Top-10 real estate developer in China, Country Garden Holdings.

The photo exhibition, in conjunction with the 38th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Malaysia and China, is fully supported by China’s Embassy in Malaysia.
Dignitaries including Mr Chai Xi, Chinese ambassador to Malaysia, and senior Malaysian government officials will attend the launching ceremony of the photo exhibition on 12 June 2012 at Sheraton imperial Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.

Rare photographs of the milestones of bilateral ties between Malaysia and China, including Tun Abdul Razak’s meeting with late Chairman Mao Zedong in Beijing in the 1970s as well as leaders including Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak and Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao exchanging gestures in bilateral visits and snapshots depicting Chinese corporate leaders and students’ living in Malaysia would be among the treasure collection displayed at the exhibition.

Hu Guangyao, Chief correspondent of Xinhua News Agency Kuala Lumpur Bureau, said the photo exhibition is aimed at increasing the understanding between people of the two countries.

The photo exhibition is sponsored by Country Garden Holdings. As one of the top 10 real estate enterprise in China, “Keep honest and requite the society” has always been the corporate culture of Country Garden.
Meanwhile, Country Garden will organize the first ever Global Vision Competition for its 20th anniversary. The competition is divide into three categories; these are photography, short video, and short stories.

By entering into the Malaysian market this year, Country Garden has chosen Malaysia as their first foreign country to invest in. They will bring the new philosophy “Five Star Living for You” to Malaysia. Currently, there are two planned projects by the developer which is in Rawang and Kajang
