D’Island Residence, LBS Bina Group Berhad (LBS) first luxury residential development has been successfully launched. This is a following since its recent move into the high-end property division. D’Island Residence is set to be an enviable address as it is transformed into an island paradise with a spectacular lake as centrepiece. 175 acres of land surrounded by a stunning 1,000 acres of water, every residential or commercial development faces, or is a mere stone’s throw away from this awe-inspiring view, offering a unique resort-style living experience right where you call home.

“The Klang Valley has been developing at a swift pace over the last decade and when buying homes, city dwellers often have to choose between size, location and a conducive environment. D’Island Residence provides resort-style living surrounded by the cityscape – not just quality homes, but a fully integrated township boasting a spectacular waterfront, carefully landscaped lush greenery, good infrastructure and amenities, all within the city limits,” said LBS Managing Director, Dato’ Lim Hock San.

The launch featured 28 semi-detached homes priced from RM2.38mil. Standing tall at 3-storeys, the lakeside homes with an unusually large built-up of 4,864 sq ft creates a generous sense of space for all in the family. With a total of 5+2 bedrooms and en suite bathrooms, the homes’ master suite comes with a private terrace and skylight shower. The airy interior of the homes is further accentuated with floor-to-ceiling windows that allow an abundance of natural lighting. The homes are further equipped with private lifts to improve mobility and access for aging family members.

Underlining LBS’ new direction and commitment towards sustainable lifestyle developments, the exclusive low density township also incorporates green technology and design. The entire development will feature light-emitting diode street lights and solar-powered lighting that illuminate outdoor spaces such as parks and walkways. Each individual home also comes equipped with a rainwater harvesting system in which the water will be channelled for irrigation and other outdoor uses. This system will also be applied to outdoor spaces throughout the development.

For a good evening outing under the beautiful sky, residents of D’Island can take the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors with their families as lush landscaped environment completed with bicycle tracks, spacious pedestrian-friendly paths, community facilities and picnic grounds surround the development and encircle the lake.

Residents who wish to stay fit can do so facing the stunning waterfront, on the development’s 4km jogging track, 60% of which faces the lake. The track is also equipped with an outdoor gym and other recreational facilities. Other amenities such as swimming pool, gymnasium, sauna, steam room, lounge and an activity centre can be enjoyed at the clubhouse.

“This is what we mean when we say we envision creating living habitats where harmony and pleasure dwell in our living spaces. Most of us choose resort-style living when going on vacations. At D’Island Residence, this “vacation” will become a daily experience as homeowners can enjoy a much sought-after respite from the hustle and bustle of modern day living.” Dato’ Lim Hock San further explained.

Minister of Housing and Local Government, YB Dato’ Wira Chor Chee Heung, officiating the event said, “I am pleased to see players like LBS taking the lead and challenging themselves to do better every time. Much more than building homes, each development and township lays the foundation for happy, balanced and sustainable communities.”

The first phase of the development’s three storey luxury superlinks Apicalia, with a limited 122 units and GDV of RM156 million, were more than 90% sold. The property has appreciated by more than 40 per cent since its debut in April 2011. Its launch price of RM270 per sq ft is today valued at RM381 per sq ft.

D’Island Residence has an estimated GDV of RM3.6 billion and is expected to take five to seven years to complete. The development’s superlink, semi-detached and bungalows will be launched next year. This flagship development is the first step towards the company’s long term objective to be an internationally recognised developer, building and inspiring lifestyle spaces that enhance community living.
