The topping-out ceremony marking the completion of concrete construction for W Kuala Lumpur Hotel and Tropicana Residences

 

Rising 55-storey skywards, the stunning tower is envisioned to be among the highest residential apartments in Kuala Lumpur upon completion in 2018. It is going to be hippest and swankiest place in town for trendsetters, as it is a celebration of stylist sophistication and upscale metropolitan living. Property developer Tropicana Corporation Berhad is joined by business officials at a topping-out ceremony marking the completion of concrete construction for one of the developer’s most prestigious developments, W Kuala Lumpur Hotel and Tropicana Residences at KLCC (i.e. The Residences). The final concrete slab is poured by Dato’ Yau Kok Seng, Group CEO of Tropicana Corp and Zhang Zhao Xiang, Group CEO of China Metallurgical Group Corporation.

 

Designed by world-renowned architectural firm SOM, The Residences is strategically located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur’s central business district, at the original Millionaires Row, and is a mere two minutes’ walk to the Petronas Twin Towers. The Residences is situated in close proximity to Malaysia’s premier commercial and entertainment hubs, educational institutions, state-of-the-art medical centres, highly acclaimed recreational clubs and local attractions such as KL Tower, China Town, Central Market and the KLCC Park.
