Speaking on the housing loan facility, according to (Frederick) Siew Kin Meng, Deputy Chief Executive of Retail Banking BSN, “There are quite a number of challenges faced by our youth today especially to those first-home buyers when it comes to purchasing properties. The main challenge is their ability to pay the initial 10% deposit fee. This is where our Youth Housing Scheme (YHS) comes in handy as it helps the young buyers (married or single) with their first property purchase.”
Since its launch by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak in October 2015, we have been partnering with various property developers to select desired yet affordable hoes for young buyers. Our partnership with Sin Hee Yang Property Group is another milestone in our effort to help make homes more affordable to first-time buyers. YHS is open to the first 20,000 qualified applicants on a first-come-first-served basis. Do visit our nearest branches or meet up with our sales executives as they are ever ready to assist you with your loan submission. Henceforth, grab this opportunity before it ends.
The scheme is offered in both conventional as well as Islamic home loans of up to 100% of the purchase price. Further aid is also provided by the Government with monthly loan subsidies of RM200 per month for the first two (2) years to help them with their loan repayments. To enhance first-home buyers’ affordability, the Government has recently introduced several policies under the 2017 Budget to promote affordable home ownership for the right target groups. These include building more affordable homes through its various property development companies, and a full stamp duty exemption for first-time home buyers on houses costing up to RM300,000.
Attractive promotions by the developer on the carnival:-
