To fulfil its Corporate Social Responsibility and to achieve the “Clean and Healthy City” status, Seri Alam Properties Sdn Bhd has responded positively to the government’s call in preserving Mother Nature through the application of Effective Microorganisms (EM) technology founded in Japan.
The first stage of this eco exercise was initiated with an educational tour to SMK Sultanah Engku Tun Aminah, a school which actively involves itself in the application of the EM technology and has been recognized with various district and national awards. The tour was intended to impart first-hand experience in the use of EM technology at the school level.
The developer and SJK (C) Nam Heng also collaborated in the mudball making session on 14 November 2011 and succeeded in producing more than 10,000 mudballs with the help of 400 students.
Dato’ Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin, Member of Parliament of Pasir Gudang, visited the mudball making session on the 4 December as an endorsement and encouragement to Seri Alam Properties’ efforts.

Thereafter, all 50,000 of this environment conservation balls will be thrown into the lake come early 2012 at the grand launch of the Eastern Iskandar Malaysia Environment Conservation Program. It is scheduled to take place at Town Park 1 in Bandar Seri Alam where water from this lake which flows downstream to the other town parks within the township and ultimately to Straits of Johor will benefit from this exercise.
