Prime Minister witnesses landmark signing for Malaysia Vision Valley
PUTRAJAYA, 4 May 2017– Sime Darby Property Berhad, Kumpulan Wang Persaraan (Diperbadankan) [KWAP], and Brunsfield Development Sdn. Bhd. today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to lead the development of a major new strategic development region, known as the Malaysia Vision Valley (MVV), spanning a total area of over 153,000 hectares, encompassing the districts of Seremban and Port Dickson in Negeri Sembilan. A public-private partnership with the Malaysian Government, MVV will form a key part of the 11th Malaysia Plan and the National Transformation Plan which will drive the country’s growth and development for the next 30 years. The MoU was signed by Dato’ Jauhari Hamidi, Managing Director of Sime Darby Property Berhad, Tan Sri Dato’ Dr. Ir. Gan Thian Leong, Managing Director of Brunsfield Development Sdn. Bhd., and Dato’ Wan Kamaruzaman Wan Ahmad, Chief Executive Officer of KWAP. The signing ceremony was witnessed by the YAB Prime Minister and Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar, YAB Dato’ Seri Utama Haji Mohamad Haji Hasan.
