The award winning Pangkor Laut Resort in Malaysia was recently recognised in Travel + Leisure’s World’s Best Awards 2011. It ranked in the Top 15 Resorts in Asia as well as placing in the Top 10 Hotel Spas in Asia.

Located on its own private island on the west coast of Malaysia, the award reinforced its reputation as one of the world’s most prestigious and luxurious holiday destinations.

The stunning resort was also recently acknowledged by CNNGo.com as the Best Spa Resort in their 10 Resorts for Every Type of Traveller international awards.

CNNGo.com states: “Destination spas don’t come better than the spa village at Pangkor Laut and with a spa this lavish, it’s little wonder that celebs turn to Pangkor Laut for their downtime.”

The unique Pangkor Laut Resort offers a 300-acre backdrop of a verdant two-million-year-old rainforest. Only a fraction of the private island has been developed to house the resort’s 140 luxuriously appointed villas and eight estates.

Facilities include eight double treatment rooms, an outdoor whirlpool, a yoga pavilion, rotenburo baths, private nap gazebos and a steam room.

With pristine beaches to stroll along and delightful cuisines to indulge in at world class restaurants, Pangkor Laut Resort is a perfect setting to escape and experience life on an idyllic private island in the Andaman Sea.
