A boutique hotel experience amidst affluent KLCC 😉
PUTRAJAYA, 15 October 2019 – Construction and development company, ORANGEBEAM inked a RM177.4 million contract by BBCC Development Sdn Bhd to develop the very first Canopy by Hilton Hotel in Malaysia and the Southeast Asia region at Bukit Bintang City Centre (BBCC) in Jalan Pudu. With this new win, the company’s outstanding construction order book stands at RM1.39 billion.
The Hilton brand’s lifestyle hotel, Canopy by Hilton brings a modern boutique hotel experience with a capacity of 478 rooms to the bustling city of Kuala Lumpur. The 28-storey unique, next-generation hotel is designed to provide unmatched comfort and localised experience for its customers. The Canopy experience offers 20 storeys of standard rooms and suites and another 8 storeys consisting of Back of House, Front of House, Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) rooms, kitchen, food hall and more.

The project will take 20 months to complete and encompasses an extensive scope of work, including twenty floors of hotel rooms and suites, four floors for various mechanical services, two floors for kitchens and dining areas, one floor for the mezzanine as well as one floor for the main and back lobbies. The project commenced on 7 October 2019 and is set for completion by June 2021.

ORANGEBEAM is also responsible for the construction of the BBCC – Office Block with total contract value of RM322.4 million. The project involves one block of 43-storey strata offices, including an office space and a mechanical room. It also comprises an 8-storey entertainment centre block with four floors of retail space and Cineplex, banquet hall floor, main lobby floor, music presentation centre, ample parking facilities as well as two floors of mezzanine hotel facilities. ORANGEBEAM is responsible for the main building works of superstructure S1 under the Parcel 2 of BBCC. The construction is targeted for completion in August 2020.
In July, ORANGEBEAM bagged a RM204.8 million contract by Trinity Infra & Buildings Contractor Sdn Bhd to develop its latest 42-storey Trinity Pentamont project in Mont Kiara. The 330-unit penthouse luxury condominium comes with a grand lobby that offers full-service concierge, cosy facilities built for ultimate relaxation and high-end amenities for residents looking to entertain guests in style. The construction project is set for completion by February 2022.
