Awards are a Real Testament That Home Seekers Value Community-Centric Features, says LBS Bina Group Berhad
Kuala Lumpur, 16 March 2018 – It’s the time of the year when the crème de la crème of the nation’s property developers gather at The StarProperty.my Awards to celebrate the industry’s excellence. This year, LBS Bina Group Berhad’s (LBS Bina) diverse portfolio proved worthy of recognition as the Group clinched the Excellence award in the Best Touch and Feel category for its Simfoni Perdana development, Honours award in the Neighbourhood category for its township development, LBS Alam Perdana; a Merit award in the Long Life category for its BSP21 development and the “All-Star Awards – Top Ranked Developers of the Year.”

(sixth from left) LBS Bina Group Berhad Executive Director, Dato’ Cynthia Lim, accepted the All-Star Award on behalf of LBS.
“We are honoured to be placed amongst the nation’s top developers. Since the beginning, LBS Bina has placed great emphasis on quality designs and value for our home buyers. We attribute our success to understanding the changing needs of our home buyers and meeting these needs by crafting and designing valued-added living spaces. This recognition motivates all of us at LBS Bina to continue delivering more exciting and award-winning developments in the near future,” said LBS Bina Group Berhad Group Managing Director, Tan Sri Lim Hock San.
Impressing the judges with its fine quality and detailed finishing, LBS Bina’s modern classic concept envisioned for Simfoni Perdana received The Best Touch and Feel Award (Excellence). Located in the LBS Alam Perdana township, Simfoni Perdana’s 980 townhouses are designed with a combination of modern minimalism with characteristic touches of olden classics. LBS Bina capitalised on spaciousness and neutral tones, matched with a hybrid of modern materials and colonial carvings in a bid to appeal to today’s discerning generation.
LBS Bina proved to be a top contender for the night as the developer also picked up a second award, The Neighbourhood Award (Honours) for its LBS Alam Perdana township. A testament to its strength as a township developer, the award was a credit to LBS Alam Perdana, a 470- acre boutique township located in Puncak Alam, Selangor. LBS Bina’s winning strategy to design a community-centric township, supported by three solid pillars with the aim of fostering closer relationships, proved to be a stand-out among the StarProperty.my judges. The three pillars consist of affordability (developments priced from RM340,000 and state government affordable home programmes Rumah SelangorKu and Perumahan Penjawat Awam 1Malaysia [PPA1M]), connectivity (highways) and community (communal spaces and facilities).
The Long Life Award was another category highlighted in this year’s event which indicated the trend of more and more home buyers considering the health and wellness component when purchasing a home. Adding to its impressive list of awards, LBS Bina received The Long Life Award (Merit) for its BSP21 development. Located in the Bandar Saujana Putra (BSP) township, BSP21 is a 10-block development designed for urban families with demanding lifestyles. It stands out because it features over 70 facilities and amenities located under one roof.
“Affordability, connectivity and community are three important pillars that we believe determine the success of our developments. We have been developing affordable and medium range living spaces for many years. This is why LBS Bina has a strong presence and continues to grow in this segment. The awards we receive are a nod to the hard work of the LBS Bina team and a testament that home seekers value our community-centric developments and features,” explained Tan Sri Lim.
To top it off, LBS Bina Group Berhad was also among 15 local developers who received the “All-Star Awards – Top Ranked Developers of the Year” accolade in recognition for consistently incorporating added value offerings into its property projects.
