The world’s property market in Asia Pacific, MIPIM Asia, has announced the winners for the sixth edition of its Awards competition, which honors outstanding real estate projects in the Asia Pacific region on Sept 14, 2011.

This year, all short listed projects are winning projects, and MIPIM Asia participants voted during the show to determine the winning order for each category (gold, silver and bronze).

The international jury, chaired by Dr Ngee Huat SEEK, Board Director, Government of Singapore Investment Corporation (GIC) Real Estate, Singapore, met in Hong Kong on Sept 9, to examine the 80 projects from 15 countries that entered this year’s awards.

Only three winners for each of the 10 categories were selected by the MIPIM Asia Awards jury, which are made up of the top real estate players in Asia-Pacific. Winners will receive their prize at the prestigious Awards Gala Dinner on Nov 16.

China, Singapore and India dominated the list of entries with respectively 29, 15 and 12 projects. Submissions also covered Australia, Azerbaijan, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Russia, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, United Arab Emirates and Vietnam.
