“Global mindset a must to thrive in business”, says founder
Globalization is one of the most comprehensive force that shape the modern world. As such, entrepreneurs will have to think globally to survive locally.
Datin Winnie Loo said with the advancement of science and technology, businesses develop international influence and some even started operating on an international scale due to the ease of communication. “This has made globalization possible”, she said during the launch of the video in conjunction with “Brand Yourself People’s Choice Award Going Global 2017 – Globalization of Entrepreneurship”.
Winnie and Steve Wee; the founders of People’s Choice Award that was first introduced back in 2015 revealed that the award this year will see participants from 10 countries, namely Australia, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea and Thailand taking part in the event. Two nominees will be selected from each country to run for the award.
Expected to be held on July 28 this year at the Galaxy Banquet Hall Sentul, the award will feature three sub-categories; the “Most Promising Entrepreneur Award 2017”, “Most Charismatic Award 2017”, “Most Stylish Award 2017” apart from the “People’s Choice Award 2017”.
