Dato’ Dr Vincent Tiew shares the Group’s endeavor to contribute more to the community.
The months leading to the closing of 2011 promise many inspiring moments for The Andaman Group as it pledges its commitment to do even more charitable projects in the near future.
Dato’ Dr Vincent Tiew, Director of Sales and Marketing of Andaman Property Management Sdn Bhd says all of the Group’s staff will be involved as the move is in line with the company’s missions and social obligations.
The Andaman Group is a relatively young company of less than six years old but it has the maturity that even older companies lack – its awareness towards social responsibilities.
“In Andaman, we practice Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in our activities as part of giving back to the community and society,” says Dato’ Dr Vincent Tiew. “We endeavor to put more effort to help and contribute to the society from time to time,” he says. “Believe us, we will not stop here.”
In line with its CSR, the Group’s recent buka puasa function was held at The Summit Hotel Subang USJ with its staff and guests as well as 40 orphans from the Rumah Limpahan Kasih.

As simple as the dinner was, it did bring smiles and laughter to the children and guests when cartoon mascots Upin and Ipin from the popular Malaysian 3D animation made an appearance.
The children also received Raya packets from Andaman Property Management.

The Group’s determination to embark on its charity efforts is not merely words but is marked by actions. Tomorrow, several Andaman staff including Tiew will be climbing Mount Kinabalu under the Climb of Hope project initiated by Sutera Harbour Resort.
The climb will be a part of the Group’s CSR initiative to contribute and to raise fund for the National Cancer Society of Malaysia (NCSM) ‘Climb of Hope’ in aid of the people affected by cancer. Former Miss Malaysia-World 2009 Thanuja Ananthan will also be leading the climbers.
