3-member consortium named for High Speed Rail project
KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia’s MyHSR Corp Sdn Bhd and Singapore’s Land Transport Authority (LTA) have awarded the joint development partner (JDP) contract for the Kuala Lumpur-Singapore High-Speed Rail (HSR) project to a three-member consortium. “The consortium comprises WSP Engineering Malaysia Sdn Bhd, Mott MacDonald Malaysia Sdn Bhd and Ernst & Young Advisory Services Sdn Bhd,” MyHSR and LTA said in a joint statement here today. The JDP will provide project management support and technical advice on HSR systems and operations, as well as develop the technical and safety standards to be adopted for the project, it said. “It will also assist the joint project team established between MyHSR and LTA with the preparation of documents for the coming tenders relating to the joint aspects of the project, such as the appointment of AssetsCo and OpCo International,” it said.
