Homefinder’s recent Karnival Perumahan & Hartanah Bumiputra 2015 (HARTABUMI’15) held at Shah Alam Convention Centre (SACC) from the 10-11th October was a runaway success. Property investors and home buyers alike were equally delighted by the many housing options made available to them during the two-day expo. More than twenty major real estate developers showcased their latest projects and flagship developments during the entire event, including various home-related businesses and non-governmental organisations who lend their support to the property carnival during the entire fair. The main highlight of the event itself would undoubtedly be the lively and engaging speeches by celebrated captains of industry as well as esteemed leaders and distinguished guests from both the corporate and government sectors.
For the month of November, we featured many stories about home improvement, property lifestyle, modern living and social issues. They include such diverse subjects or topics as modern renovation for contemporary homes, the local spa & wellness industry, the keeping of fishes in today’s homes, monetary challenges for Malaysia’s Gen-Y community, eating healthy on a budget, a ‘beautiful body’ or a ‘healthy body’ conundrum, as well as fundamental hygiene tips and tricks. In our coverstory, the dramatic slump of the national currency – the ringgit also made a huge impact on the local property market, particularly to real estate developers, property investors and home owners alike.
The recently concluded and much hyped or talked about Masters of Wealth 2015 – Live with Robert Kiyosaki (“Gear Up Before The CRASH”) seminar and convention at One World Hotel, Bandar Utama, Petaling Jaya from 10-11 November showcased the financial genius, wisdom and power of the ‘one-and-only’ real estate guru and wealth master himself – Robert T. Kiyosaki! Apart from Masters of Wealth, another “event of the year” and one of 2015’s most anticipated property events, was the prestigious annual Malaysia Property Award 2015 organised by FIABCI-Malaysia held on 6 November, also at One World Hotel which saw major property awards being presented to prominent real estate developers, in celebration of their flagship developments nationwide. The main guest of honour was none other than His Royal Highness, The Sultan of Johor who also graced and officiated the award ceremony.
2016 has been widely anticipated to be yet another challenging new year for the Malaysian economy, specifically for the local property industry. Nevertheless, let us all hope and pray for a better and more prosperous future ahead in 2016.
