Sunsuria Berhad and Savanna Landscaping founder Gan Teck Boon have entered into a joint-venture (JV) agreement to operate and manage the landscape and nursery functions of Sunsuria’s group of businesses. Under the JV agreement, Sunsuria’s subsidiaries – Sunsuria Arena Sdn Bhd and Sunsuria Gateway Sdn Bhd – together with Gan, will establish a JV company, Sunsuria Landscape & Nursery Sdn Bhd, to undertake the relevant landscaping work for all properties developed by Sunsuria.
Sunsuria will be investing RM100 million into the total landscaping budget for its landmark township Sunsuria City, which covers individual plot landscape work and township streetscape. Sunsuria Berhad’s Chief Executive Officer Koong Wai Seng says that JV leverages Gan’s more than two decades of experience in the landscaping business, and allows Sunsuria to internalise the group’s landscaping function to provide a seamless green experience across all property developments.
