Naza TTDI launches its inaugural KL Metropolis Show Gallery

Naza TTDI recently launched its new KL Metropolis Show Gallery that has a gross area of 14,000 sq ft located at Naza Tower, Platinum Park in Kuala Lumpur. The KL Metropolis Show Gallery has designated spaces for concierge, coffee bar, AV rooms, 2 show units, sales gallery, discussion area, and children play area. The launch is timely as MITEC (Malaysia International Trade & Exhibition Centre) will be operational next year and the KL Metropolis masterplan takes a firmer shape. Next year, MITEC will be a key venue for athletes as Malaysia hosts the 29th South East Asia (SEA) Games. MITEC is the first component of the 75-acre KL Metropolis and Malaysia’s largest exhibition space. It has a gross floor area of 1 million sq ft exhibition centre with a total of 11 exhibition halls across three levels. MITEC is able to accommodate 40,000 visitors at any one time. Apart from MITEC, KL Metropolis is divided into 8 precincts namely Met 1, Met 2, Met 3, Met 5, Met 6, Met 7, Met 8 and Met 9.
Met 1 consists of two office towers, one serviced residences, and destination mall with a net lettable area of 85,000 sq. ft. A block of luxury service residences located at Met 1 is expected to be launched by end of this year. Met 2 covers strata offices and a hotel. Met 3 will have a lifestyle mall and a signature tower, Luxury Condo, 5-star hotel, class A office towers. Met 5 is a joint venture project with Hap Seng Land Sdn Bhd to build residential blocks and offices, and a 4-star hotel. Wellness suites will be located at Met 7 in support of a dedicated industry body, KL Healthcare Travel Council (KLHTC) that will be set up by the Ministry of Tourism to foster collaboration in promoting and developing medical tourism in Kuala Lumpur. Met 8 will comprise of two Class A office towers jointly developed by Triterra Metropolis Sdn Bhd. A purpose-built 6- star hotel will be constructed at Met 9 to cater to exhibitors and participants of MITEC. The KL Metropolis was launched on 25 Oct 2011 with three strategic joint ventures to date. On 2 September, Naza TTDI started collaborating with Nusmetro Property Sdn Bhd for the development of 3.29 acres with three towers consisting of serviced suites, serviced residences and managed residences. Targeted completion for the towers is by 2019.

Naza TTDI on 22 September 2015 established a tie up with Triterra Metropolis Sdn Bhd (formerly known as Keystone Impetus Sdn Bhd) to develop the 2.47-acre plot, which is Met 8. Expected completion for Met 8 is by 2021. More recently this year on 29 January, a joint development agreement was signed with Hap Seng Land Sdn Bhd to jointly develop Met 5, which is an 8.95-acre plot.
