Why the theme ‘Safe and Secure Living’ for the upcoming MAPEX?

MAPEX has always provided a platform for developers and related non-developers to showcase their products and concepts.
With the theme ‘Safe and Secure Living’, this upcoming MAPEX aims to create greater awareness amongst the public towards a safe and secure living environment especially in their own homes.

This MAPEX also encourages developers to feature houses that are fully equipped with safety measures and educate the public on the importance of safe living in the community.

As safety and security are often overlooked by buyers who seemed to be more concerned on the design, this MAPEX hopes to enlighten house buyers on the importance of safe and security features when choosing their dream homes.
With the ever increasing crime rate, REHDA wishes to highlight and promote safe city initiatives towards enhancing living standards as well as addressing the safety and security concerned faced by dwellers.

How can MAPEX ‘Safe and Secure Living’ and developers inculcate ‘Safe and Secure Living’ to homebuyers?

Safe living is often associated with the protection of individuals from any harm and danger beginning in the home. Developers can play a significant role in educating the public towards safe and secure living through providing enhanced security features in their development. This will contribute towards a more safety and security conscious community and help promote harmonious living in a more resilient environment. REHDA as a responsible and caring society is working closely with the government and Malaysian Crime Prevention Foundation (MCPF) to further reduce crime rates and create safer neighborhoods towards making Malaysia a world-class livable city.

What would this three-day event entail? Any special freebies given by developers?
