AkzoNobel launches new Dulux Visualizer 3.0 during its yearly Buka Puasa event


Introducing the all-new feature-packed Dulux Visualizer 3.0 from AkzoNobel, incorporating the revolutionary Colour Picker technology to mix & match a plethora of real-time colour schemes to suit individual taste and preferences

AkzoNobel, the leading paints and coatings company and producer of Dulux paints recently launched the latest version of its Dulux Visualizer app during a Buka Puasa event held at One World Hotel, Petaling Jaya. The Visualizer 3.0 app created for iOS and Android is a pioneering app that uses innovative technology to help guide consumers see, share and paint colours of their choice in real time. Now with the added feature of taking videos, consumers can capture a video of their wallpapers and experiment with hundreds of different colours that would suit their wall. If they see a colour somewhere that inspires them, the ingenious Colour Picker technology is used to instantly mix and match the desired scheme.

The award-winning app uses cutting-edge technology (i.e. augmented reality and video visualization) to display colours in a room in real time. Launched sometime back in May 2014, it has been downloaded over 10 million times, this latest app version will be rolled out in over 40 web markets this year, beginning with the Netherlands, Turkey, France, India, Indonesia, Argentina, and Russia. Once consumers have found a colour of their choice, they can either purchase their paint(s) or find a store closest to them via the store locator function within the app. Last but not least, if consumers are having doubts about their choice of colours, they can upload their chosen colour on social media and share it with family and friends to obtain a second opinion.
